Pumpkin Picking!

Last year we went to the Sweet Oregon Berry Company for pumpkin picking as one of our inaugural Oregon trips, and it was so amazingly fun I declared it an instant tradition. Today we went back and the second year was even more fun than the first! Get ready for another insanely long post, because we took LOTS of photos!

Hay Ride

For once I remembered to hand my camera off and ask for pictures of me WITH the kids. Of course, that's no guarantee that the kids will cooperate with picture-ready faces!

They did have a corn maze, but with four terrified children and only ONE willing adult, verdict was to skip it this year. 

So picturesque. It's been a long, dry, sunny summer that has lasted long past we had any right to expect. Today was a beautiful, stormy, rainy and windy day. Just perfect for pumpkins.

Realizing she should have gone to the bathroom BEFORE we took the hayride to the other side of the farm....it was a long stomp back!

Back from the bathroom...let's find some pumpkins!

The wagon had one wheel that wouldn't turn. It was Very Tricky!

About 5 pounds of mud stuck to the bottom of my shoe. Heavy stuff!

We ended up with such a nice variety!

He doesn't like getting "booger-slimed", as he puts it...so he sprinkled the food along the ledge instead.
