A couple of days ago Trash Man died from a tumor. We made him as comfortable as we could and he was peaceful, so the kids are relatively okay with it. Now I've got my eye on Hannah who is healthy, but obviously missing her friend. I've heard that parakeets can die from loneliness after they lose a mate and she's got me worried since she's not chirping and she's not eating either. :( Here's hoping she pulls through!
I know I usually use this blog for happy things, but life's not always rainbows, so that's what's up with us this week. Other than the super excitement over Christmas prep and vacation days!
