It was a wonderful Christmas in Oregon!

| Stockings were hung by the dryer vent with care. There has been a raging debate around here about whether Santa comes in through the dryer vent (yes, I came up with this one...) or whether Santa comes in through the peephole in the door. Either way, the laundry room door was the closest area to Santa's arrival. :) |

| Rebecca woke up at 5:15 and came whisper-shouting into my room to say that Santa DID come, he DID eat the cookies, he DID drink the milk, the reindeer DID eat the carrots, there WERE new presents under the tree and the stockings WERE full!!! She was such a good girl after that, she stayed in bed with me for a full hour before she couldn't take it anymore and just had to wake her brother up, ready or not! |

Creepy eyes, I know....sorry about the perpetual battle between flash and no flash in these photos! What with trying to catch the right lighting and get the photo before these lightning kids moved again these aren't the highest quality pictures I've ever seen. :P
This is Caiden reaching all the way to the middle of the stocking and coming up with a piece of chocolate before anything else. :) |

| A Doctor Dog! This thing is hilarious. It gets a red nose, comes with a thermometer, prescription pad, medicine bottle, tissues, pretty much everything you need to play vet for hours on end. :) |

| Anyone who knows Uncle Eddie knows why this picture cracks me up. For all the rest of you, Caiden's Uncle Eddie has the uncanny ability to hold a wrapped gift to his forehead and immediately tell you what's inside. I asked Caiden to show me what he got from Auntie Anne and just died laughing when he did this.... |

Those big boxes in the middle? Bed frames! I got the unfinished pine frames so we can go down to Lowe's, pick their favorite color paint, and make a family project out of it. |
