Library and Park!

After playing at the house on Wednesday morning we went to the library for story hour. It was *incredible*!  The librarian does a great job reading to kids, her selections were Just Right, there was dancing, there was singing, there were even bubbles!  Rebecca was so overtaken by the sheer level of awesome that she forgot to be shy and even sang along with the other kids!  Caiden was so overtaken by the sheer level of awesome that he ran around rather like a bull in a china shop, but it's great practice for him to do something like this, so we'll be going every week for sure!
Right next door to the library is a truly incredible park, the thing spans probably 3 times as much area as any other park we've been going to and has some really challenging bits!

Here we are getting ready to leave the house, snacking on graham crackers.

So exciting to have your cousins just one stroller over!

I like how neat and organized McMinnville looks so far. Very clean and cared about.

Listening to the story...

Dancing AND singing!

Spinning so fast my camera couldn't catch her. :)

Jack was so excited to show us his park.  He showed Caiden and Rebecca where all the slides and ladders and all that were, and even came up and rescued Caiden once when he got all tangled up in a mazey-part.  Go Jack!

Caiden is driving Jack to Oregon. I'm still not sure he realizes where we are yet.

All by herself, without help, without whining or falling off or thinking she couldn't do it!  There was an even scarier one which was a wooden beam attached on chains and she tried that too!

I love it, here sits Ben Franklin smack in the middle of 3rd Street, just outside my new bank.  There seem to be a LOT of cool statues around here.  I'll be taking pics as I come across them!
