The kids just came out of the tub and we were having a snuggly fresh little pile of happy hugs on the floor outside the bathroom when Caiden put his hands on either side of my face, looked me straight in the eye and said, "Momma, I love you better than orca whales."
Well, needless to say, my heart melted on the spot. Not to be outdone, of course, Rebecca tucked her head up under my arm and whispered in my ear, "Momma, *I* love you better than horses!"
These kids of mine have got to be two of the sweetest souls I've ever met.
I told them *I* love *them* better than anything I've ever loved in my entire life.....and so of course they ran off shrieking and giggling naked down the hallway. :D
